Jell-O
and Food Grade Molds
The
molds listed on this page are food grade molds made with clear PETG
plastic. They are for cold or low temperature food use, not to be used
for cooking in ovens or microwaves.
These
molds can be used for casting very large chocolates, Jell-O, ice-cream
cakes, ice, frozen fruit dishes, and may be used for casting other food
for shaping it before it is removed from the molds and baked.
At
this time the pictures used for these molds are the same ones used for
our plaster molds, so keep in mind that the material used to make these
molds and what goes in them is not the same.
Some
of these molds may need to be supported with small boards (included
with the molds) to make them level during casting and refrigeration.
Sometimes it is easier to place the molds in the freezer or fridge and
level them before filling them. Jell-O and other foods will probably
require the use of a spray cooking oil for a mold release.
These
molds are great for making center attractions for all kinds of events,
parties, weddings, birthdays, or for entertaining guest.
