The
Professional Jewelry Clay Roller is made from machined acrylic and designed
for use with PMC clay, Polymer Clay, Sculpey Clay, and any other brand
of clay used in making jewelry or art.
The
roller part it 4 inches long and 3/4 inch diameter. The handles are
1/2 inch diameter and stick out approximately 2-1/4 inch on each end
of the roller. The handles are lightly frosted for better finger traction.
The handles are welded solid to the roller section for the best control
possible. Overall length of the Professional Clay Roller is 8-1/2 inches
long.
The
roller is clear so you can see through it for the best visual control
possible. After working on a clay design with tools, you can smooth
the part down with the roller and keep it in site so you can gauge the
amount of pressure to put on the parts.
This
professional grade roller can be used with any of the art clays as well
as oil based clays when designing lost wax masters. It can be used to
press the clay into our impression sheet molds onto either surface of
the clay, or both at the same time.
Easy
to clean, just wipe with a soft cloth, or wash in water with mild dishwashing
liquid and rinse. Mold release can also be applied for non stick properties
if needed. Be sure to check if the substance you put on the roller attacks
acrylics or not.
