2. We Have Moved to a larger
shop location.
_______________________________________________________________________
We have spent the last
few months moving into a larger shop at a new location.
The address of the shop is in Tucson, but since it is not open to
the public,
we only give it out to those that would need to meet us there for
special
projects. Since our machinery is unique to us and not open to be be
reviewed
by the general public, we prefer not to allow access at this time
to the shop.
The move has helped us
a lot in the additional space requirements needed and we plan
on adding more machinery to the shop to up production even more. Our
shop is
now capable of cutting and engraving with a laser and we also have
a 20 ton die cutter.
We have expanded our services
to include manufacturing medical components
from heavy plastics, and a few other items since we now have the laser
for
cutting different materials with high precision.

3. PMC clay/poly clay impression
sheet molds are now being made.

Finally, serious work has
been going on to produce the PMC clay
and poly clay impression sheet molds that folks have been asking for.
Patterns that will be offered
will be from both nature and digital
creations cut with the laser for use as impression sheets.
For those of you that do
water based ceramic clay or slip clay
molding, you will be able to use the impression molds to create
plaster pieces from either side of them for use with your clay.
Plaster is very inexpensive and easy to work with so you will be able
to create as many plaster impression pieces as you might need.
You can also carve on the plaster once it is set or you can create
oil based clay dams on the sheets in any shape you want so you can
cast and create an endless array of plaster impressions for your
own personal use.
We also have a mold release
now that will be available so you can do your direct
impressions without the parts sticking to the sheets.
We will send out another
newsletter soon when the new products
get listed so keep an eye out for it.

4. Custom Molds for Chocolates
and Soaps

Some of you may already
know this, but as a reminder, we do make custom molds
for chocolates and soaps. Mostly custom chocolate molds is what we
do and
you can check out our gallery of examples at

We make a lot of molds for weddings, anniversaries, birthdays, and
other
special events. We also make a lot of business logo bar molds that
are used
for promotions and to give away. Some people have had us make molds
for
running production of special chocolates so they can sell them commercially.

5. Your Name in Chocolate
and Your Name in Soap web sites up and running.

Our two new web sites at
http://www.yournameinsoap.com and http://www.yournameinchocolate.com
are up and running strong now. We are still adding more designs to
the mix
as we have time. These sites are for molds with peoples names in them,
and not
to be confused with the custom molds we do. Being able to re-use the
names
in future sales allows us to make them at a much lower cost than the
custom molds. You will find molds that will work well for weddings,
and other
events there so it can be a very nice surprise for gift giving and
more.

6. A new MEMBERS ONLY password
protected area on our site will be up soon.

We are working on a new
Members Only area on our site that will allow members
to make purchases at reduced pricing compared to non members and will
only
be accessible via a Portal CD. The Portal CD will allow the user to
enter
the Members Only area and sign in using a user name and password which
will be
provided via an email once a month or more often as we need to. Members
must
maintain a valid email address with us in the Members area to get
access to the
Members Only area.
The Portal CD will contain
some other nice features that the members can use
as well as some surprises and prizes.
We will be providing a
simple form application for signing up and directions on
how to acquire the Portal CD.
The Portal CD will be made
available for a modest fee to cover our cost to
produce and mail it, or may be shipped as part of a minimum first
order from the site
at full retail pricing along with filling out the membership form.
At this time, I am not
sure what those amounts will be, but will send another
newsletter to let everyone know. The savings will be substantial to
members, and
there will also be exclusive and first notice on new items to members
before they are
posted to the main site.
We should have this up
and running by the middle of next month sometime if not sooner.

7. More web sites in the
works for specific molding projects.

We have 3 new domain names
registered now for specific product lines we are
working on. The first to go live will be Ornamental Walls, which will
be
our site for working with new materials for decorating walls and ceilings.
This new site will deal
with new and some existing molds we have for making
plaster tiles with, but will expand on that to a great extent. We
will be
including laser cut stencils for both painting, staining and for thick
applications
of plaster. We will also be supplying quite a few new products for
this new
industry that has not been done before. New innovations in working
with molds
and materials along with some great new ways to make it fast and easy
have been
developed already for this new site.
The other two sites are
related to the monogrammed molds we make and to the
Your Name in Soap and Chocolate sites. These we are still working
to perfect the
methods to produce the fonts and the molds for, but we have already
made great strides
to make this happen.
