Web
Version of our Newsletter
March 12, 2007
To all
subscribers of our web sites at Thermal Formed Plastic and
Crow Talker, we wanted to let you know we have changed our business
identity and web site to
http://www.moldwarehouse.com (Mold Warehouse).
Since the lions share of our business has been making and selling
molds for casting all kinds of products into, it was decided that
we needed to focus on that aspect of our business.
The
web site at http://www.moldwarehouse.com is still very new but
is growing fast already.
Some
features I have added to make the site more fun and easier to
navigate include a Community Forum which can be reached by the
link (Community Forum) on every page in the main menu on the left.
We invite you to join the forum and add your input to the board.
My experiences with having Open Forum Boards up before on sites
was not pleasant in dealing with SPAM from folks that thought
our readers would be interested in things not appropriate on any site.
I am going to moderate this board close and it will require that I
personally will have to look or approve a post before it goes live on
the site. I wish I didn't have to do that, but I just don't
want junk from bad folks to interfere with our sites board this time.
Another
nice feature I have added is a (Search our Site) page.
If you want to look up something more specific than Concrete Molds
like looking up (birds) for instance, the search software will return
a page of links with pages that have something on that page that has
the word bird on it. If you use words that are not in the main menu,
as all pages have those words on them, then you should be able to narrow
down a page of links to find what you might be looking for.
In addition
to the above features, I have started adding e-Books to the
site. I already had three that were nearly done I had worked on in the
past, not entirely related to casting or using molds, but handy and
fun
to use anyway, so I finished them up and made them available for free
on
the site. I am already working on more, and the new ones will be more
in
tune with working with molds and projects made from them. Printed material
will become available after those so you can order them in print if
you
prefer paper :-)
With
new technology in production and design of molds I have been working
on,
there are going to become available some very nice choices for all kinds
of
molds and other related products on the site soon. This is already in
process,
so it should not take long before we send you information on what's
new on the site.
We may
be the only site on the net that offers such a broad range of molds
now. It
has been my dream to bring together in one place a huge amount of choices
for my
customers so they can have things to do during the winter months as
well as the
warmer seasons. It is nice to do things inside when the weather is not
suitable to
work outside, or vise versa.
As a
side note: My wife and I have decided to move to a new location. She
has (and
me also to some extent) a condition known as MCS or Multiple Chemical
Sensitivity.
This condition makes it very difficult to live in areas where people
run dryers with
dryer sheets and softeners. It also is difficult to be close to people
that wear fragrance
or do other things that put chemical fragrance into the air. It is nearly
impossible to
enjoy our own backyard now as our once remote neighborhood has now grown
extensively with
population. Our immune systems were damaged in the beginning from the
use of insecticides
and with the use of fragrance products and other common but toxic substances
they broke down further.
It is our goal to move to an area where there is much less of these
types of products being
used. We have found an area where there are some 30 families living
with the same issues of MCS,
so we are making the trip this week to visit the area and meet some
of the people living there.
If all goes well, we will be moving the business and will buy a home
in that area.
I plan
on sending out at least one newsletter a week, it just depends on how
much time I can
devote to it. I will also post the newsletters on the site and you can
always reach them by going to
the Free e-Mail Newsletter link on any of our sites pages and following
the link on the bottom of the page
there.
Thank
you and have a great week!
Dan
