The
Ocean Fossil tile mold has a very light pattern that reminds you of
the stone that is cut from rock that was once on the bottom of the ocean.
It is a little difficult to see in the photo, but the pattern has some
small detail that kind of looks like the impressions left by sea shells
in the mud before it was turned to stone over millenniums of time.
Please
be aware, making tiles with concrete is best done by those that know
how to make very strong thin concrete products. Interior plaster tiles
are good for walls and other areas, but not to be used for flooring
or countertops.
We make
the molds, but have no control over how they are used. We do not take
responsibility for any castings no matter what material is used that
are done in our molds. We also do not have proprietary information on
what mixtures are best to use in these type of molds. Please consult
your local builders or suppliers to learn more about making concrete
tiles. Plaster tiles are inexpensive to make and a lot of fun to work
with, but please also be aware that any fine dust type of products carry
their own hazards in using. Read all warning labels on products you
will use to do castings.
